All-Russian Research Institute of Biological Plant Protection

It was established on the basis of the North Caucasian Research Institute of Phytopathology by the resolution of the Russian Government No. BS-P1-7828 dated 8th December 1992 and Order of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences No. 137 dated 30th December 1992.

Since its establishment, the Institute has been actively involved in the development of comprehensive crop protection measures for the most important agricultural crops against pests, including highly hazardous quarantine ones which pose a high risk to crop production.

At present, the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “All-Russian Research Institute of Biological Plant Protection” is a major research centre of the Russian Federation in the field of biological protection of plants, organic farming, phytosanitary, ecotoxicological and taxonomic monitoring of agricultural ecosystems, biocenology, biotechnology, plant immunity, chemical communication of plants, bio-objects and fine organic synthesis.

All-Russian Scientific Research Amelioration Institute

Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “All-Russian Scientific Research Amelioration Institute” is under the Amelioration Department of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and is one of the leading research institutes in the field of land improvement. Employees of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “All-Russian Scientific Research Amelioration Institute” who carry out scientific activities and contribute to the achievement of scientific and (or) technological results: 80 research officers, 1 Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 10 PhDs and 35 Candidates of Sciences. The number of young specialists under 35 years of age is 44% of the total number of research officers. The average age of research officers is 44 years.

Every year, the Institute conducts research on 20-22 research topics, develops more than 15 final output documents, including regulatory and methodological documents, proposals and additions to legislative acts, draft concepts for federal and departmental target programmes, and documents in the field of standardisation.

The Kuban Gardeners Union is an association of companies engaged in the cultivation, storage, processing and sale of fruit and berry planting material in the Krasnodar territory and outside it. The organisation’s activities include cooperation with state and municipal authorities, initiatives and proposals on various issues aimed at ensuring legality and the development of partners.

Organic Farmers Association is an independent professional association and official partner of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Federal State Budgetary Enterprise “Russian Agricultural Centre”, All-Russian Research Institute of Biological Plant Protection, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education “Federal Centre for Agricultural Consulting and Retraining of Agricultural Industry Personnel”, etc. Members of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements and TP Organic International Technology Platform.

All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops

It is the leading research institution of the Russian Federation in the field of breeding and production of oilseeds and essential oilseeds with more than a century of history. Today, All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops is a strategic centre for domestic selection of seeds of higher reproduction for annual varietal renewal and varietal exchange of sunflower, soybean, linen, rapeseed, turnip, mustard, camelina and coriander varieties and hybrids.

The Centre’s main activities:

Russian Agricultural Centre

It was established in accordance with Russian Government Decree No. 566-p[1] dated 5th May 2007 by merging 143 federal state institutions: 76 state seed inspections and 67 territorial plant protection stations.

The Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Agricultural Centre” is currently actively working to determine the sowing and variety qualities of seeds in the Russian Federation. The institution is the successor to the Russian State Seed Inspection Agencies.
